By April plants will start to show signs of growth.

Things to look out for and do:
  • Seed trays in greenhouse full of young plants
  • Grass starting to shoot up
  • Sunshine and showers can be testing, but it is April
  • Use fertiliser for trees and shrubs, they will be looking for a feed
  • Check your lawn, you may have to re-seed parts
  • Check for yet more weeds emerging
  • Tie up climbing plants as required
