Doff Advanced Concentrated Weedkiller is a systemic weed killer for the control of annual and deep-rooted perennial weeds, including grasses, docks, nettles, willow herb, dandelion and many more. Systemic Weedkillers are those that are absorbed through the leaf and into the weed's sap stream to be transported to all growing points, including the roots and therefore killing the weed. Contains 90 g/l Gyphosate in a soluble solution.
Instructions for use: Maximum individual dose as a spray: 2.4ml product per sqm. Avoid all other spray contact with cultivated plants. If cultivated plants are treated by mistake, immediately wash off the weed killer with ample water. Extreme care should be taken to avoid spray drift or spray landing onto lawns and other desired plants as this may damage or kill them. Do not use on lawns, under polythene or under glass.
To avoid possible transfer to lawns or green areas do not walk on treated areas until the spray as dried. Apply this product carefully. Ensure spraying takes place only when weeds are actively growing (normally March to October) and is confined only to visible weeds including those 30cm swath covering the kerb edge and road gulley - do not overspray drains.
When to use: Apply when the weeds are actively growing and the leaves fully developed. This can occur at any time from Spring to Autumn with the optimum time usually from June to September. Apply at least 8 hours, preferably 24 hours before rainfall for satisfactory results. Do not spray in windy weather. Some tough weeds e.g. willow herb, may need a repeat treatment after 3-4 weeks if re-growth appears. Repeat once only during the growing season.
Where to use: Wherever unwanted weeds are to be controlled, including hard surfaces e.g. patio and drives.
How to use dosage: Maximum individual dose as a spray: 2.4ml product per sqm. Garden sprayer: Pour the contents of the 80ml sachet into 800ml of clean water and agitate after closing. Spray the entire weed especially the leaves when they are dry but avoid excess run-off. Diluted solution will treat 32sqm. When applying, spray must be directed away from non-target plants.
Future planting: This product has no residual activity in the soil. Planting may take place after the treated vegetation has died back.
Care of equipment: After use, wash equipment thoroughly with water three times to remove all traces. Dispose of washing water on unplanted, bare ground. Traces of spray left in the equipment may seriously damage or destroy plants sprayed with the same equipment at a later date. Keep children and pets away from treated areas until dry.
